Variety Village in southwest Scarborough hosts The World’s Greatest Christmas Party on Sunday, Dec. 16. The annual fundraising event features games, inflatables, snacks, crafts vendors and a visit from Santa Claus. The party runs from 11 a.m. And admission is $8 at the door. Why would a tour operator not cancel a tour knowing that the remnants of Beryl was coming through? I was worried the day of I thought for sure they would of canceled the tour. I knew that the remnants of Beryl was coming through.
We booked this way in advance before we even got to the Bahamas. So we continued on trip which I thought maybe they know better and the weather won’t affect this island we were going to. Once there there were thunderstorms and lighting all around us which was scary the kids were afraid of going into the water. Adobe cs 5.5 production premium for mac.
The worst part was to happen, all of a sudden the skies turned so dark and a wall of black clouds were coming to us. The winds picked up to what seemed about 45 knots gusting 50 looked like according to the flags and the white caps ( I have my pilots license). It lasted about 2 hours of constant wind and hard rain. Then I thought we are going to get stuck on this island. Then the captain decided we were leaving and half the people on the boat were scared by the look on their faces. My kids were frightened the ride back. So the bottom line is why would the tour operator not cancel the trip knowing that the remnants of Beryl were coming by?
Because they want our money no matter what. Never again would I book with them they don’t care they just want your money. The tour operator was booked through Viator and was Sandy Toes.
